Paul
trained at The Royal Ballet School in his native England and
has danced in many companies, including Northern Ballet Theatre,
London City Ballet, and
Boston
Ballet where he was a principal dancer for 9 yrs. In
1996 The Boston Globe named Paul to their list of Boston’s Top 10 of
Dance. Paul has also danced as a Principal Guest Artist with
Milwaukee Ballet and with Maximum Dance and Ballet Gamonet. Over the
years he has danced a wide range of roles, from the Classical and
Contemporary repertoire, including choreography by
Nacho Duato, Twyla
Tharp, Jorma Elo and
Dwight Rhoden.
During his career he has toured around the world and has partnered
many Prima Ballerinas. Among the most notable are Eva Evdokimova,
Larrisa Ponomarenko, Jennifer Gelfand, and Iliana Lopez. Some
special recognition during his career include: performing for Queen
Elizabeth II and for Diana, the Princess of Wales.
Paul currently teaches in Miami Contemporary Dance Center and
this is his first season with Miami Contemporary Dance Company.
